How come there is an Ebony magazine but there?

Darcie Peraha: Simple, it's not. But to fanatics, it can be misinterpreted as saying that their lives are not much more important than the other race that's spoken, and thus deemed less important. AKA those who say that are actually being racist.

Kizzy Hett: ivory mag bubba is.... 4x4 trucks.,..lo-riders,..and momo drifters... umbd uckf

Coralie Goldsberry:

Willie Tun: No, I can take care of myself. I don't need a Marxist Socialist Group to enforce anything for me. I enjoy the Liberty the American Constitution provides for Everyone.

Stormy Beliard: Actually it called target marketing. You make a magazine that targets a niche market and make a fortune.

Dionna Doyel: In some Democrat cities, like Baltimore, Democrat treatment of Blacks has not changed 50 years after the civil rights act....When people say the Democrat controlled police in these Democrat run cities apply the standards for deadly force equally....They are in denial.

Porfi! rio Gartland: Because when ebony was created there were no magazines that depicted black people or products. Go to your grocery store and look at all of the white hair and body care products. Black people have to use different products, especially for their hair. Their products are relegated to a tiny little shelf in the back of the row....while the entire aisle is filled with white people products. As for why there aren't any other magazines, that is false. There are Hispanic geared magazines...not sure about Asian, but anyone can create a magazine. If you'd like to see more Hispanic, Asian, or "ivory" magazines, you can create one....Show more

Derick Kinnard: Another good thing would be to demand that all liberals are executed immediately.

Patrica Loertscher: there are Para Nosotros is one which means "for ourselves" and there are more as well as Irish magazines for the Irish and Asian magazines in of all things Asian languages like Korean, Chinese and Japanes! e. One of the best is Polish News in Polish, now thats good re! ading.

Antonia Quinnett: It would only be considered inappropriate by a racist.

Amina Motzer: Because what you are asking would create racial tension in America. I know it sounds crazy, but an "Ivory" magazine would contribute to racism in America, (at least, that is the logic).edit: The previous answerers are correct, There are many such magazines out there, but the titles may not be as obvious for a particular race. But don't think for one minute our culture does not promote racism. After all, we have a Black Miss America Pageant, and we have a Miss America Pageant. The former is not open to Caucasians, yet the later is open to all races. We have Black History Month, The United ***** College Fund, and The NAACP. Caucasian versions of these organizations would immediately be dismissed as Racist organizations.Y/A has proven my point. I spelled out the "N" word when naming the colege fund, yet Y/A edited it. Y/A is so intent on Political Correctness, that it eve! n edits the legitimate name of an organization to prevent possibly offending someone. The funny thing is, there are those who actually find the organization offensive. Racism is acceptable, as long as it is aimed only at White People....Show more

Mitzie Clough: I don't think it's racist or inappropriate. People just want to make something out of nothing as always. This offends me, that offends me, blah, blah, blah.

Dexter Dingus: no, the president isnt simply handed an unlimited blank cheque book when elected, unless you elect one who has his own, and a president dictating law to other countries, it wont happen....err

Lawanna Livsey: Tell ya what skippy, YOU get elected president and we'll see what happens

Darrin Hixenbaugh: On face value it is clearly true, and unoffensive.Wehn evaluated through the prism of our current society, it completely misses the point of the "Black Lives Matter" movement. The whole problem is that white lives and white dea! ths seem very much to be prioritized by our criminal justice system. Wh! en the victim of a murder is white, we can be fairly sure the perpetrator is or will quickly be behind bars. When the victim is black... we have no such assurances.

Dewey Heersink: They weren't booing because they thought it was inappropriate in wording but because it was beleived to be an innapropriate response to the questions on the table and ignoring addressing black and Puerto Rican mistreatment directly.

Micah Schwarcz: I would demand any country wanting foreign aid must make all animal abuse illegal punishable by death including hunting and fishing

Cody Petrulis: I know a guy who writes the occasional article for an Indian-American magazine. The fact that I'd never heard of it before he got published probably has something to do with the level of demand for it.

Russell Mckinzie: no, why does being in a political group require me to be in some gay protest that won change anything?

Rosalia Hibler: I agree fully. Things are quite lopsided.!

Karl Jantzen: There are. Ebony was started because black people were excluded from mainstream magazines.

Jesse Pirieda: Only when you put it as White Lives Matter is it considered Racist. Get with the Plan Sam!!!

Queenie Ruthers: What id like to see is a White Miss America Pageant. Theres a Black one so why not a white one too?

Elmo Tervo: It's fine as is. However if you use it as a accusation against obama for example. He only cares about black lives. See all the times he has made a big deal about black shootings. Then Kate a white women get murdered in San Francisco by an illigal alien due to crazy leftist policies and non enforcement of federal law and the fed looking the other way. As a result I could say what you said to Obama to try to guilt him into caring about white victims or white prisoners in iran. So I'm calling him a bigot and he is and then I would be called a racist for calling him a bigot and I'm not.

Bethany Blocker: Y! ou're including other lives besides Black.

Danica Timperman: I do! n't think it's either racist or inappropriate. Criticism of it is merely misguided political correctness run amok.People are SO hypersensitive these days, they'll take anything as an insult. The quote was benign, and people are behaving in a childish manner

Joel Feagler: The one thing i despise most. Is a man crying in the wind. You Republicans are weak and spineless. Go to sleep please. Or go play on the freeway. You've always had everything your way. Shut up.

Justin Casten: There are no special magazines for Hispanics or Asians?Seriously, dude, you need to take a walk through a Books-a-Million magazine section sometime.

Alonso Crehan: You are very immature.

Evelin Turlich: The minimum length of an answer is 15 characters

Sharee Doak: There's a whole magazine just for white ladies between the ages of thirty and forty five who are married with children. You're going to the wrong bookstore. While the rest of the world is trying to break down soc! ial and cultural barriers, magazines are becoming more exclusive and cater to niche markets. If you own a Jeep, there are like four just for you....Show more

Jayson Brod: You've gotta chuckle at the answers that mention "Glamour" or "Elite", when both of those publications have had blacks grace their covers. Not once has a white been featured on Ebony, though. The excuse that "everything else caters to the whites" is out of date by about 30 years. As for the "target marketing" excuse, can you imagine the furor over a magazine that boldly claimed to cater exclusively to whites?...Show more

Ira Porietis: Like, to counter the femen who are ruining society?

Bernadette Roel: There is, but it's usually called something like Glamour or Elle.

Oscar Waddups: what are you talking about? hispanics have magazines but in spanish like peoples magazine en espanol, they have modern latina and so on...they just have other names, so so asians they have their own stuff in! their own language and different names.

Verdie Wollen: Actually ! there are such magazines. Apparently you don't get out very much.
