Mouthwash with or without alcohol -- Which is healthier for you?

Mouthwash with or without alcohol -- Which is healthier for you?

answers 0:Has it been clinically determined which kind of mouthwash is healthier for your teeth and gums overall? Regular old Listerine and other brands say in their active ingredients that they provide antigingivitis benefits. I believe that cetylpyridinium chloride, found in Crest Pro-Health, also is for antigingivitis. However, that ingredient is allegedly controversial and has caused some side effects for people. You also have Listerine Zero, which I believe lists anticavity protection as its main function, not antigingivitis....Show moreanswers 1:Also, does the fact that alcohol mouthwash can lead to bad breath bacteria growth cause any dental problems that we aren't aware of? In other words, might the bacteria that grows cause any gum problems or infect cavities?answers ! 2:Depending on your own preferences Listerine contains alcohol which for some people can make them have irritation or dry mouth. As long as you do not have these problems you should be alright. Crest Pro health is a good brand too. Although several people have told me that when they spit it out the have blue pieces come out...which is the skin from the inside of your mouth slothing off. I have spoke wioth a Crest represenative and she said that it is normal and does no damage. Good luck!!...
