Lawana Neemann: Well here's what I know about this scanner. It is the handheld model and I believe it is capable of 100 channels. On the scanner it should have a button. The button should say aircraft, by depressing this button, the scanner will scan the per programmed freq bank for the most common aircraft freqs. It should automatically use AM. The owners manual calls these banks, Pre-programmed Service Searches , and I believe this scanner is capable of 6 total. ! So if you chose lets say, the amateur band, it should start scanning the "ham" bands at the lowest freqs designated by the fcc for this band. Im not totally familiar with the model you have, but use the "aircraft" band and it should scan from 108-136.9875. The owners manual should have something in it discussing the "bands"Good luck...Show more
